The hunt
Becoming one
Section titled “Becoming one”The Night Visitor trait is in the rewards store. Buy it for any sim in your household and that sim is a predator — no auto-spawn needed, no waiting for the night.
Then use Sharpen Instincts on a mirror. That starts the Predator Instinct skill, and from there everything else unlocks by level.
Thirst
Section titled “Thirst”A predator who does not hunt gets restless. Every few sim hours without an attack his lust escalates through three stages:
Sleeping Lust → Nightly Obsession → Deep Hunger
It is not just flavour: the buffs push the mood, and after a paired hunt the companion’s thirst grows 50% faster than normal. Feeding it resets the clock.
A night, start to finish
Section titled “A night, start to finish”- Pick someone. Right-click any valid sim → Attack. From level 2.
- He closes in. If she is asleep there is no fight — he takes her where she sleeps.
- The fight. If she is awake, they fight. Who wins depends on your settings (see below).
- If he wins, a WickedWhims session starts right there, with a forced tone.
- Afterwards, she keeps the trauma and he keeps the XP.
Who wins the fight
Section titled “Who wins the fight”Four modes, in Combat:
| Mode | How it decides |
|---|---|
fitness_with_bonus (default) | Compares both sims’ fitness, plus a bonus for the predator (+2 by default). A gym-built victim can genuinely beat him. |
fixed_chance | A flat percentage, 60% by default. |
always_vn | The predator always wins. |
always_target | The victim always wins, so no attack ever gets through. |
The bonus goes from −5 to +10, so you can set it up to make him barely favoured, or almost unstoppable.
What the attacks never do
Section titled “What the attacks never do”Friendship and romance do not move. Not from the fight, not from the session, not from a partner walking in. A victim never becomes her attacker’s friend, and she does not hate him in the numbers either.
What she does get is his face: after a visit he appears in her relationship panel as an acquaintance, at flat zero. She knows exactly who he is. The numbers just stay still.
Getting caught
Section titled “Getting caught”Alarms. If the lot has a burglar alarm, the predator trips it like any burglar would. The house wakes up in a panic, the police get called, and if the officer arrives while he is still there, he gets arrested.
That is why he shows up disguised — the burglar outfit or the all-black look. It stopped being aesthetic the day the police started coming.
This is on by default, and it is the one real risk he runs. A lot with no alarm is a free night; a lot with one is a gamble against the clock.
The partner. If the victim has a romantic partner and they walk in, you get a choice: fight, call the police, or watch. Watching has its own consequences — see Home invasion for what happens to a partner who watches three times.
